After years of trying to convince Sally that she needed I website, she woke me up during the night and announced that the time had now come to turn over a new leaf, get fitter/healthier and have her own website. Quite why she had to wake me up at 3am to tell me this, only she knows I guess.

So I’ve put together a WordPress 3+ based site for her which is very straight forward providing your web host doesn’t make you jump through too many hoops. During the install process your database details need adding to a settings file but that’s the only manual editing which is required. I have to say that setting up WordPress sites is very simple and it’s truly amazing what version 3+ can do straight out of the box with no plug-ins.

Only time will tell if Sally will actually keep her new website up to date.
