If you’ve ever been to a commercial gym, you’ll know that banging dance music is the way forward and normally supplied by the owners of the gym. My experiences with subscription gyms spans both very good ones, and very bad ones. The good ones have someone within the organisation who appreciates good dance music and knows the kind of gear to buy to best blast it out on. The bad ones have a 1980’s Technic’s midi system, you the type I’m on about with the strange looking speakers, lots of flashing lights and lots of boom/tizz going on (and a constant source of “Now Dance” CD’s).
